Tasting & experience

This Signature Blend delivers a comforting, crowd-pleasing cup with caramel sweetness at its heart. The Brazilian pulped natural component brings nutty, chocolatey depth and body, whilst the Colombian washed coffee adds brightness and structure. Hints of warm spice—cinnamon and subtle clove—emerge alongside roast almond notes that linger on the finish. The medium roast balances sweetness and development, creating a versatile coffee that performs beautifully across brewing methods. Brewed as filter at 94 °C, expect a smooth, rounded cup with gentle acidity. As espresso around 93 °C, it produces a balanced shot with caramel sweetness—ideal for milk drinks or straight espresso at 1:2 ratios.

Origin & traceability

Our Signature Blend brings together coffees from two renowned South American origins. From Brazil's Sul de Minas region, we source pulped natural Yellow Bourbon and Catuai coffees grown at 900-1,200 metres. This fertile area, known for its consistent quality and sweet, nutty profiles, provides the blend's foundational body and chocolate notes. The region's pulped natural processing—where cherries are depulped before drying with mucilage intact—creates a coffee with clean sweetness and medium body.

The Colombian component hails from Huila, one of Colombia's most celebrated coffee-growing departments. Smallholder farmers cultivate Caturra and Castillo varieties at higher elevations of 1,400-1,800 metres, benefiting from volcanic soils and ideal microclimates. Traditional washed processing ensures clarity and brightness, with coffees fermented for 12-18 hours before thorough washing and sun-drying on raised beds or patios. Together, these two origins create a harmonious blend that showcases South American coffee at its most approachable and reliable.

Roast & brewing suitability

Roasted to a medium profile that balances caramelisation and sweetness, this blend is designed for maximum versatility. The roast level develops the Brazilian component's nutty, chocolatey character whilst preserving enough brightness from the Colombian coffee to maintain balance and complexity. For filter methods like V60 or AeroPress, expect a smooth, sweet cup with gentle acidity and rounded body. As espresso, the blend delivers consistent, forgiving extractions with caramel sweetness and enough body to shine in milk drinks. This is our go-to recommendation for home baristas seeking a reliable, crowd-pleasing coffee for daily brewing.
